3 Years...

I realize I'm a crappy blogger, i doubt anyone even reads anymore but this is more for Colin and Lauren to read years from now.  I feel like we just finished their 2nd birthday, I can't believe they are 3.  They are 2 of the most amazing people in my life, i don't even remember what I did before them.  Being a Mom is the hardest job but so rewarding.  I decided to let them tell you all a little about themselves at the age of 3.

Colin is a very energetic little boy who puts so much enthusiasm in everything he does, he loves tractors, trucks, bulldozers and dinosaurs.  He loves his sissy and is very dependent on having her around for comfort. He gives the best kisses and loves his back scratched.  He is about 50% potty trained and loves his big boy underwear!

Lauren you are a very caring little girl and really tune into the emotions involved in different situations.  You love puzzles, babies, animals and princess dress up. You often tell me, daddy and your grandmas how much you love us.  I love how when I hold you, you pat my back.  You love your kitty and she loves you.  Your are completely potty trained, day and night and have been for 6 months!

They celebrated their Birthday yesterday with a big group of 20 of their little friends at a indoor playground.  They had a mickey and minnie themed party and really got the whole birthday concept this year.  Thanks to all our friends who came out to celebrate!

So I'm about a week late with this but lets face it I suck at blogging.  We are somehow now closer to 3 then we are 2 years old.

 Lauren you are our silly girl, you love to make us laugh with silly words and silly dances!  You love to dance and play your guitar! You like to pretend you are a kitty or a doggy and have us feed you treats.  You love dresses and jewelry, note the above picture, you are always accessorizing!  In the last 3 weeks you have learned to pee on the potty and are wearing big girl undies all day and pull ups at night.  The pooping on the potty has been an issue with you up until yesterday, you finally mastered it!  You are incredible smart and wise beyond your years, we love you more then you love Popsicles!

Colin you are such a boy!!  You have so much enthusiasm for everything you do.  You love bulldozer, trucks and motorcycles.  You know all the proper names of the trucks and you let us know if we called something a bulldozer when its technically is a excavator!  You have a love/hate relationship with bugs, your obsessed with finding them but terrified to have one touch you.  I often find you outside smashing bugs with you bare hands.  You love climbing anything and everything and I find you jumping off of everything you can!  We still aren't potty trained with you yet, but you are trying and get so excited when you get little drop out!  You are my challenging child as everything out of your mouth is a whine(gosh I hope that ends soon).  I wish everyone could have a little bit of your joy out of life, we love you more then you love pancakes and sausage!

Spring...

First off sorry I'm a horrible blogger, having two 2yr olds is very overwhelming at times. Its hard to take pictures of them because they are always on the move and I can't take my eyes off of them to take a picture.

Here are a bunch of pictures from this spring so far...

We went to Chuckie Cheese for the 1st time, they loved it but they did not love Chuckie, who Colin calls Mickey Mouse!

We have been to the local zoo.

We went to see the FreshBeat Band, they did much better then I expected. Colin told the lady in front of us he had diarrhea(thankfully he did not).

I look stunned, I don't think I knew Daddy was taking a picture!

We colored Easter eggs for the 1st time.

Grandma had an egg hunt for us.

Finally finishing out December...

I'm finally getting around to posting Christmas and Birthday pictures, I'm terrible at blogging but 2 toddlers really wear me out! I don't have many Birthday pictures(never put your husband in charge of pictures mine happened to suck at the job).

They had a pool party since they love swimming and they were very happy that all their friends came to celebrate with them.
